I manage training for a police department and I purchased several infinity target products in order to give my officers a more realistic target experience when training in the shoot house and on the range.
First range day, we put several hundred rounds of 5.56 ball ammo through a target and it literally just looks like we poked holes in it with nails.
We took several more targets to a live fire shoot house yesterday and put them through the Work with frangible ammunition out of rifles and handguns as well as simunition. These targets handled the frangible rounds very well. The frangible rifle rounds seemed to do a little bit more damage on the back end then ball ammo, but the difference was marginal. The sim Rounds obviously just bounced right off.
My team loved having realistic target presentations instead of pieces of paper that were glued to a wall. Highly recommend.
